A good question indeed. I'm not sure he really knows, but he can tell you a few things about himself that might help answer the question.

Where to start?

He is married to a lovely girl that he met in Oxford one sunny Sunday afternoon, and after eleven years has collected three children, three cats, and three chickens. He lives in a big old house that he fights with continually, and lurches from day to day in a state closely resembling normality but under closer inspection reveals itself as total and utter chaos.

In the daytime he is a software developer. While it sounds clever, in reality it means he spends most of his time banging his head against a number of brick walls, desks, and computer monitors. He continually struggles to learn all manner of products and technologies emanating from various famous companies that clients presume he is already an expert at, and feels like a bigger fake with each year that passes.

He wrote a personal blog on the internet for years - at Blogger, WordPress, Yahoo 360, LiveJournal, Vox, MySpace, Posterous, Tumblr, and various other popular destinations. Little trace remains of much of the inconsequential garbage he once polluted people’s RSS readers with.

He's wondering right now if building this website was a good idea or not - and is guessing only time will tell.
