Back when I was single, I used to watch "Ally McBeal". Even though the gender roles were swapped, I loved that there was somebody else in the same boat as me; that never won the girl/boy, that always ended up being somebody special's "friend".

I always hoped she would end up in a relationship, and yet thought they ruined it when she finally did.

I still have the Vonda Shepherd soundtrack album here - I listened to it again recently.
