Got my 1 TB external Thunderbolt drive today. The retina MacBook is performing its first time machine backup.

I hope to consolidate all of my music onto this thing as well. I have something like 50 GB of music... Maybe I need another one just for the music. Hmmm.

Partition the drive. Have part of it set for the Time Machine back up and the rest for a music/media back up?
